   Proposal Description:
   Abstract: The goal of the current study is to examine the prevalence rate of cognitive dysfunction in individuals with essential tremor (ET), as well as the rate of cognitive decline and conversion to dementia among individuals with ET, relative to individuals without ET.  Specific Aim 1: Characterize neuropsychological performance among individuals with ET.  Specific Aim 2: Examine rate of change on neuropsychological measures over time in ET.  Specific Aim 3: Examine the conversion rate to dementia among individuals with ET, relative to those without ET.
